My name’s Thane Thomson. I’m currently a freelance technology consultant and part-time entrepreneurial coach/consultant.

Since studying electronic engineering at the University of Pretoria, I’ve run my own web development company for two years with a friend, worked briefly in the software engineering sector, have managed to squeeze in some freelance web development work, and have some experience in business intelligence and analytics, especially in emerging markets digital media. My MBA thesis focused heavily on new, alternative perspectives on the process of entrepreneuring.

Right now, I’m focusing my efforts on what I enjoy most: starting things (the philosophical and practical aspects thereof).
